Yes, helicopter yatra is one of the safest and most comfortable ways for elderly pilgrims and children to complete Chardham. Flights use DGCA-certified helicopters and pilots. However, we recommend a doctor consultation for anyone with cardiac, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions before high-altitude travel.

If a flight leg is cancelled due to weather, we attempt to fly the next day. If cancellations continue for 2+ consecutive days from Dehradun, the trip is cancelled and refund is processed after deducting actual costs (hotel, meals, transport) and INR 15,000/person flight planning charges. Extra days due to weather stays are borne by guests.

Only one small bag with a maximum weight of 5 kg for Chardham package and 3 kg for Do Dham per passenger. Large suitcases cannot be carried in the helicopter. We provide standard duffle bags and store your main luggage at your Dehradun hotel until you return.

Passengers weighing above 75 kg are charged INR 2,500 per additional kg, payable at the counter before boarding. Accurate weight declarations are critical for flight safety.

The temples typically open in the last week of April to first week of May. Yamunotri and Gangotri open on Akshaya Tritiya; Kedarnath and Badrinath open 2-4 days later. Exact dates are announced by respective temple committees each year.
